Empord\u00e0 TV toured the port facilities to get a firsthand look at how the season went and the activity at the harbor entrance. <\/h6><p>The tour began in the area with the cranes and the gas station and continued to the outer edge of the harbor entrance, where participants were able to observe maritime traffic and the operation of the entry and exit checkpoints.<\/p><p>The manager, Lluc Puig, described the summer as \u201cvery intense\u201d and highlighted the improvements made this year to the technical and personnel controls at the harbor entrance. These updates are designed to enhance safety both at the port\u2019s entrance and exit and along the entire 23-kilometer stretch of navigable channels in the Empuriabrava Marina. <\/p><p>But the harbor mouth is much more than just an entrance and exit for boats.
