The Empuriabrava Marina is reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and the protection of the marine environment by joining the ECOnàutic project, an initiative launched by the Catalan Association of Marinas and Tourist Ports (ACPET) to promote good environmental practices among users of marinas and tourist ports in Catalonia.
This collaboration aims to raise awareness among sailors and boaters about the importance of adopting responsible habits that help preserve our marine environment. The project promotes simple yet effective actions, such as properly sorting waste, reducing the use of single-use plastics, using water and energy responsibly, avoiding any discharge into the sea, and respecting marine flora and fauna.
As part of this initiative, users can consult the ECOnàutic Guide, a compilation of recommendations and practical tips for enjoying boating while minimizing environmental impact.
The Empuriabrava Marina encourages all its users to join in this shared commitment, because even small actions can help keep the sea cleaner and protect a natural heritage that belongs to everyone.
